Depending on the end cost, I might be talked into buying a set. Not real happy with the test pipes I have, I would rather be legal and not so ricey!

Any idea what the shipped price will be?

Looks like they are improving their quality. Their composite and SSV plenums had some poor review before.

I'm curious about the plenum/HFC combo. If my dyno numbers were even as close as 5 hp off, I can actually break the 300 rwhp NA threshold easily.

I already have them. They work well. I am now getting some codes thrown, but they go away oddley enough. I think my o2 sensors wire connectors need cleaning, or the sensors are wearing out at 70K. The HFC's sound great. A lot of extra rumbling from below. It sets off car alarms now. It's funny.

I have these installed already. Not cel's. No bad exhaust smell. Perfect fit. I would have to say that these are a real step above test pipes. Just my 2 cents...... If My opinion is worth that...

OK

as long as we have 5+ buyers, we are looking at $330 + shipping for Kinetix HFCs.

Shipping costs are likely to be around $20 to US, and $35 to canada.

I'm not trying to start anything......but I keep hearing negative things about their plenums and camber kits..........makes me wonder how much effort they put into developing ANY of their products.

I am not familiar with construction of HFC's........so maybe there is not much to screw up?????

I am thinking about HFC's so I am interested and not just 'Hating'

I'm on the fence about these. My buddy at Infiniti told me to stay away from their products. He didn't specifically mention the cats, but...

What bugs me is that they advertise no CEL, but Satter66 gets codes??? What's that all about?

Sorry John,

Like eZg001, I'm not trying to hate on the situation, but $350 is a lot to spend and I want to be sure it's worth it.

Yup, I'm still in. Worse case is if I get a code, I'll just install my spacers from my test pipes. Don't be scared........jusdoit!! After I install these I will have a used set of test pipes for sale....CHEAP NATE......did ya notice he has 70K on the books?? The change of readings prob. has sumthin 2 do with that. Just don't throw away yer old cats and if yer not happy with the new stuff........EBAY EM!!

I'm not going for the intake plenums on this....

this is about exhaust work

many people have installed these with no problems at all...

do a little research on these, so you feel comfortable. Some people with specific exhaust systems (nismo) have had problems with cracking, but that has only been a few people. Plus, since the did a revision I've heard nothing bad about them. I was told I can get a discount either way, I'm just trying to help the rest of you out here too.

Have you had your codes read to find out which codes you are throwing?
