OK, so this is an '05 coupe with headers, HFC's, and true dual stainless exhaust. I wanted to get the HFC's kinda broken in before posting this up.

At idle and rev,

Pulling away from the house at normal speed, slight uphill involved, inside car,

This is getting on the interstate, sorry it's not better....just my luck had to slow down and merge behind a school bus,

This is a short clip of a downshift from inside,

Lemme know what ya think....HONESTLY!

One word...Awesome! I think thats one of the better exhaust set ups I have heard. Did you get the heads and exhaust off ebay?

Yep, the headers were around 40/45 bucks and the exhaust was around $450. The exhaust is the "HKS Lookalike/copycat", if I remember right it was KCR exhaust......I think . And thanks for the comment

Nice. I should do some sound clips of what I got done.

Watching this stuff makes me want to mod my car some more.... Like take the headers out of my closet and actually put them on.

Did you have any issues with engine light or anything with the ebay exhaust? Did you feal any difference in power? I am torn between going ebay and spending the cash on an HKS or Injen. Is the exhaust tone deep or more ricey? Sorry to quiz you, thanks

I haven't had any issues with the exhaust, I had a cel with the test pipes and my power and mileage suffered. I can notice a big gain in power but I haven't put it on a dyno so whatever I say is just "seat of the pants" feel. If you have the cash to go with the big names and you feel good about spending that much ( feel safer spending money on a proven name vs. not) then do what makes you feel safe, I would have gone big name but don't want to spend that kind of money. I am happy with this exhaust and haven't had any issues with the headers or the cat back exhaust. I just installed the HFC's and am very happy with them as well.

The exhaust has a deeper tone with the factory cats of course, but I think the big gains came from the headers, cat back and the intake and spacer combo. I don't THINK it sounds ricey and I have asked a few ricer type guys and they think it has a nice deep tone as well. Of course when I get it to the higher rpm's it gets a higher tone but not at all like the coffee can exhaust of a 4 banger. Happy motoring!
