kinda of a problem with car

well i tryed to install a s-afc to just so if it would work like only hook up the power and the grounds, well i start my car up and it idled really low lil 400 and it runs super super rich, so i un hooked the wires and it still does it, such a huge power lose at crusieing feels like a cylinder is out, but under full throtle the car is fine but backfires crazy, and the car dies out when i come to a stop, kinda feels like when u drive with out that egr hose on or w/e hose that hooks up to the intake, well so i have no clue what this is , and my car run awesome b4 this, so this suks, ne help would be great thanks

sounds to me like when you cut the wires for the MAF the connections weren't on tightly enough and now that you've got the afc pulled out, the wires are still not tightly connected still. I personally soldered all my connections and gave it a shot that way. Also I had a bit of a problem with the white plug further up on the engine harness getting loose without my noticing but about half an hour later, I found it. Give those a shot and see what's up.

I agree on the white plug issue...For some reason they just come un-done!

As for your connections, go through anywhere you have made a connection and solder it. Do not use the crimps/butt connectors on the wires as they simply come loose too easily.

well i didnt cut ne wires and i only hooked up the power and grounds to see if it would light up, i have it unhook and it still does this, i found out the problem my injectors r not closing once the car is on
