So I've been viewing on here for a while, posting every now and then.
So I thought that I should finally introduce myself and my car, lol.
I'm 18 and I live in the 850.

I'm gonna use this tread to just keep progress of my car seeing as I don't have the money to do a build real quick..
I'm about to start college in the fall so I will probably be either saving or just buying little things for the car
for a long while..

I bought the car, 93' coupe SE from a lady down the road, paid $3k and it had 135K on it but ran good, no problems with it.
The dash wasn't cracked, seats were a little ripped but not enough to matter, and all the power stuff worked(doors, windows, sunroof, antenna)
the HUD was working and everything seemed good to go for my first car..
So I figured it was a good deal and I was really excited to have my first car, not even knowing how much could be done to an s13.

so here she is this isn't right when I bought here, it's probably about a year after
Image
at this point all I had done was new tires, tint, a repaint which was free so it wasn't the highest quality but it was free, lol.
and that's how she stayed for a good long time.

about a month or so ago I decided I wanted to spoil myself some.
so I bought an HKS Hi-Power catback from enjuku. paid $470 and got free shipping -also bought a magnetic drain plug just because
and some KTS coilovers from my friend for $700. They work good and go LOW, but I don't have them that low right now.

This is after we put the coils on, one of the front coils is stuck for right now that's why it's sitting so high.
Image

she was tucking :) But I raised it some to clear the exhaust and to wait to fix the front and get rims one day, lol.
Image

and then there's the Hi-Power, I really like it. It's not raspy at all and isn't too loud.
Image

this is after I had already raised the back coils up some.
Image

It also has an injen short ram intake, and weapon-r overflow tank. they don't really make much difference though, lol..

Things I'm planning on doing.
-fix big power steering leak, need a new high pressure hose
-clean the engine bay and interior
-efans
-skid plate after I lower it more
-new headlights and tail lights. crystal and red tails
-lower the front more
-get rims. Thinking bronze Rota P-45r's
-sound deading. Raamat
-pretty much all of the multilink parts, front and rear
-j30 vlsd diff
-q45 or z32 or sentra spec-r brembo brakes
-boost one day

just looking for a nice DD that I can have a little fun it. I'll post more pics of it later.

Let me know what you guys think and what would you recommend for multilink parts.

lol, yeah there are a few left out there still.
I'm not going to do anything crazy with the body, no kits or anything. If I do anything it'll be a silvia front with bricks!

have you put any sound deadening in your car to quiet down the hi-power inside the car??

it doesn't bother me too much but the resonating makes my gf's ears hurt...what a baby, lol

really?
I haven't put any sound deadening.
What size is the piping on the exhaust?
I have 3in with a SR and its dead quiet. At idle you can't even hear it. no joke.

Wow, gf is a weenie, I had a 2.5" HI Power cat back, it is quiet compared to most. Get a silencier if need be.

yeah, it's not worth it to get a new one I've already put enough money into her :tisk: lol

but I got a 3" on the ka. and it's not that its loud cuz mine is quiet at idle too but it's
the resonating of the floor pan, I guess that's what resonating.

Yeah I had a 3" on an n/a KA for a while, never bothered me once. On long trips it kind of "droned," but it's extremely quiet compared to a lot of other aftermarket exhausts.

I kinda miss the hi power I had on my old vert, it was very quiet at idle and not too bad at high rpm. Now mine is loud all the time, but I'm not gonna change it any time soon, it came with the car and it still works.

yeah the hi power sounds really good. doesn't sound like a fart can or anything so I'm happy
with my decision to go with it.

Now I just got to get some new exhaust hangers so it'll quit rattling as much
