Kind of an update on my new dohc install!

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

this is my dohc the i previously had a cracked head on! I can't get much done on it because the only time i have to work on it is the weekends, and even then i still have other stuff to do! I hope to have it done by the 26th of this month so i can go to slammin n' jammin in lebanon tn! Just thought i would show you all how it is coming!

I notice that you used the BLUE RTV gasket maker on the water pump.You may want to reinstall with the GREY RTV gasket maker for water resistance. Reason is that the blue does not hold up well to water resistance and eventually you will get a leak. I know this prior from experience using the blue gasket maker.As far as using the blue gasket maker I wouldn't really recomend it's use at all for the front cover either. Alot of oil passes through the front cover, and more than likely you will want to use the BLACK RTV gasket maker, which has the highest tolerance to heat and oil resistance.Just thought I would add my 2 cents....
