man, i hate to complain and stuff, but i believe that the noobs are tryin to take us over...I was looking over the forums today, and i noticed all of the postings on here: they have got to be some of the most rediculous NOOB postings i've ever seen. I mean, i even remember when i was new to this forum, i didn't ask stupid questions like the ones being asked now. we need to set up 240sx.org like survivor and vote out a few members every week...lol. but then we'd still be Fukd. I know this post is just noob bashing, but DAMN. i just had to take out my frustrations, i've had a helluva day...~Scott

I am a noob to this site, but not a noob to 240's, so some of these noobs are just asking simple questions, they dont know and they are eager to learn, and some of us are just prventing them from doing that, but I found out all my knowledge on my own. So with that said, lets just give them the answers they need then flame the hell out of em.

I'm one of the NOOB's that has seemed to have piss-off a lot of people. I admit, I did not see or use the "search" button. But that being said, if all I do is search for answers, I will never interact w/ everyone via their replys (like I'm doing right now). I can't help the fact that I'm new. I have had my 240 only a few months, so I'm limited on my knowledge of 240's.

That's what I did here...I wish that I had done it at the other site I'm a member of (twinturbo.net). Twinturbo.net was BAD.
Great site, few great people, and a lot of ***holes who knew what they were doing but felt it was a burden on them to have to share their knowledge with others.

HMmm...I've been here for over a year and a half, but I have been gone for about a month. Anyways, I don't recall you, so you using the term newb throughs me off a little, but you got you're head on straight so it's cool.
I think most of the problem came when http://www.nissan-240sx.com shut down. They had tons of stupid post, like what's this button on my door that has a window with an x on it do, god forbid I push it and find out. Ofcourse I suppose they could think it'll blow their windows out, or do a huge X across the windsheild like family feud. Anyways my point is they all came over here and continued posting stupid and/or repeatative post. Then there was that 7he_don guy from there...

You got it confused with the canadian model. In canada it's so damn cold it's not fun to get out of your car so those guys had that put on their 240's.
remember like 3yrs ago when you could get an Sr for liek 1500-1700 $ complete an no one had sources..... i never got real involved back then i had just gotten my 240 an was really broke but now ive got cash an my car an new Goals and im goin go reach them with the help of all you guys... THANK YOU for all the help an ideas

I didn't read all of the replys. This is in ref to the haters of newbies. I have a low post count. Don't mean I am a newb.
These people ask the same questions I asked, and got answers for on this very site back about a year and a half or so. They may not know how to ask the question to get the search to bring up the info they want.
You put in SR20DET and imagine the response from search. It is darn near impossible to find info that way. You put in something and have to sort through dozens of post it brings up. I can simply post a question and some nice / informed person will answer.
That is the reason I love this site. This is hands down the best import car stie on the net. Matter of fact it is the best auto related site on the http://WWW. With the best and most informed car people around. WE just have to have patients.
Lets not bash the new people who want to get a great car and want to know more about it.
And for goodness sake, let's help keep people away from those Honda's. Friends dont let friends drive Honda's.
