Just a thought, but I thought it would be cool if people posted recent races or memorable races against you know Mustangs, srt4s, dsms, etc. whether it was street or strip I thought it'd be cool. Also I'll post my kill story soon, (hopefully) i smoke my buddies srt4.

Ugg...kill stories are horrible IMO. I'll allow it so long as it doesn't degrade into bullsh1t.

If I see one street racing post, I will lock this thread down though. Let's keep these to the track.

I wouldnt really say i raced someone but:

i was at a stoplight with a new mustang next to me. some middle aged looking guy driving his vert V6 mustang. anyways, he was creeping forward until the light turned green. now his lane dirrectly ended after the light, and my lane was the one he was SUPPOSED to merge into. so i just punched it after i saw him trying to pull ahead of me, and boy was he surprised my 240 kicked the crap out of his mid-life crisis car haha.

oh yeah and

I actually enjoy losing more than winning. Especially if the person who beat me gives me a . It gives you that extra push to do something more to your car. Besides most of us on here are in the low - mid 13 sec. range, and IMHO that's a quick enough car, especially for the street.

Helped my buddy swap an SR into his 92 fastback, on the way home he decided he wanted a piece of my moderately modded KA. I/H/E, PP Head, Cams, Tuned ECU, Alum Fly, Exedy Clutch.

He immediately jumped ahead by half a car length and I hung with him until third where he started to walk away from me until..... his I/C cold pipe blew off then I pulled ahead and spanked him! lol

Oh... this is the "killing others if you have an SR thread"? oops, sorry!

Isn't mine actually a Silvia? Since it doesn't have a KA?

Now, I don't know if the S13 Silvia was released in LHD.

Hey I'm working on it dammit! My next stop is S14 SR. Things have been pretty hectic with new (first) baby, and moving. I had the money to go SR but family comes first, my wife insisted that I use the money to get the swap but I declined. She has been promising me the swap for about 2 years now but we needed baby stuff and with crap and $$$ for the new condo it had to take a back seat, again.

I will instead get my swap next month when I re-enlist (tour #3) and get my $28,500 bonus.

Can you say S14 SR and about $4000 worth of swap goodies from intake, exhaust, cooling, guages, transmission, rear diff, oil pan, blah blah blah blah blah.

just because it has the sr20 it automatically becomes a silvia? they're both pratically the same ****! As long as its the same chassis...i view it as to the: Honda integra/Acura integra. i could really care less...but in the end it's still a 240!

I think its because its 1:1. ill tell you which gear I like when i have 14 PSI. And keep my turbo studs from backing out.

KAs are a BADASS motor, I wish I hadn't had to go SR. : /.

It cost me over 6000 to have 260WHP, while with my KA setup I would have had 375 for that. : (.

wow, sorry to hear that. i'll be at 260 whp long b4 6k in performance mods. so far i spent $4500 on the car w/ blacktop swapped in, walborro 255 lph, 3" dp and catback, large fmic, mbc, bov, and a few other things. so far i swapped out the bov for an hks ssqv (only cost $50 out of pocket after i sold my other one) and a GReddy profec b for like $300. total costs so far is $4850. i can easily get to 260 hp w/o spending $1150

I know it doesn't cost that to get 260 WHP...I'm saying thats what I have spent roughly and thats where i'm at.

Not that it takes that to get there.

2200 for the motor.3100 in parts I felt necessary.

So roughly $5300 in motor stuff.

In which only about $1900 dollars of it was needed to make 260WHP.
