Ahhh. call the cops then.MAXIMUS Nismo wrote:that was stupid of you. Did the guy challenge you by flying past you? You admitted you were driving like a retired florida resident, a young guy flew past you so you had to boost your uberness by blowing past him. Just to let him know that you are to be pheared.
I though most people on here were mature, but I guess I've found the exception.
I understand the need to put your car through its paces, but where in your story does it say he challenged you? Was it the fact he had his hat on backwards, the chrome 17s, dual carbon cans or teh girlfried that made you know that your pimpness was in jeopardy?rico05 wrote: All of a sudden, I notice a car in my rear view that is moving faster than it should. I glance in my side mirror to see..
A new V6 Tiburon GT w/ chrome 17s and dual "carbon" cans. His hat is backwards and his girlfriend is in the passenger seat.
That's what tracks are for I just wish we had better Road Course tracks in North Texas. (If there are any I don't know of, I would love to know) I think there is a "Motorsports Country Club" nearby with a full length road course, but it's a country club with all the member fees and everything. Nothing I could afford.Silvia007 wrote:I'd say, if it's not in the middle of a residential area with kids around or a lot of cars, then use the power you got. No point in putting so much money into your car and just drive it like a KA... might as well stick with the NA KA.
If someone messes with me or show's off, I do not race period, but if it's on some back roads away from residential areas and few cars... or freeway, I'm punching it.
HAHAHA., I hate it when people come on here and get on their high horse. If you don't like racers then buy a Buick and read Buick forums. Most ppl into nissans like them due to their performance. It's just a fact.574-240sx wrote:Ahhh. call the cops then.
Can you please reduce your sig size to something reasonable.CybeRise wrote:HAHAHA., I hate it when people come on here and get on their high horse. If you don't like racers then buy a Buick and read Buick forums. Most ppl into nissans like them due to their performance. It's just a fact.
Anyways cool, story. Nothing I enjoy more than smoking some chump in a honda with his girl
Why did you modify your 240 then? It would be hypocritical to say you did it for the sole purpose of track events.MAXIMUS Nismo wrote:I understand the need to put your car through its paces, but where in your story does it say he challenged you? Putting as much money as we sink into our cars, and not use them is a waste. But, use it wisely.

I'm highly unlikely to race anyone in town, but I'll straight up "whup yo a$$" on a relatively clear freeway.
I know what you are talking about. I was merging onto I-35 in the Dallas area in the morning once (out torwards Denton), and I throttled it at the bottom of the on-ramp. By the time I was on the highway I realised I was doing around 90.flohtingPoint wrote:
lol, kinda hard NOT to race on the 202 or i17 going through the valley of the sun. Traffic moves so fast there (not during peak hrs, but at night), and cops are few and far between. I'm an avid non-street racer, but at times I'd look down and go "oh damn, I'm going 90..." while going with the flow of traffic.
