Kill my sub

Just bought a 2009 Altima and went for the stereo upgrade--the Bose 9-speaker (no nav) system. I realize this marks me as an audio rube, but I hate the low-frequency thump of the sub-woofer.

Is there some way to turn it down or even disconnect it. I don't want to lose all my bass, just the really low stuff.
