HA!I beat a lightning the other day. Guy totally underestimated the stock looks of my car. Little did he know that R compound grip and turbocharged engine would destroy his big white Ford manhood.

Odd, a friend of mine claimed he raced against a tC with a 2001 Altima and won, with everyone stock. I would think if he could win with an Altima a 240SX could win.

How is your maintenance like? I do assume this was at a track, right?

Yeah, I second the "your car is jacked up" sentiment.

either your car is jacked up or that scion was hooked up. there is no reason a tc cant be made to go pretty damn fast.

I concur that it is also likely that the tC could be made pretty fast. I looked up the specs once on its engine, it looks very close to the KA24DE: bore, stroke, cr, all very similar.

Also TRD makes a supercharger for the Scion.

I think the TRD supercharger isn't available yet for the tc. I, also, think it's the same engine that's in either the corolla or camry... i forget which one....i wanna say camry.

I raced an xB once and won, lol.

tc's make like 160 horse stock, right? There's a pretty nice looking one running around town, I haven't got the chance to meet up with him yet though.

It's Camry

I too was expecting the 1.8L from the XRS and GT-S. They probably had the same idea as Nissan with the 240SX to go for more low end grunt to satisfy the American market.
