This movie was really gory and I loved it! There was one scene where Uma kills 80 or so Yakuza with her awesome sword. The movie is standard Tarentino with the timeline going back and forth but it is a great movie. It ends at the worst possible spot, leaving me hungry for Part II. Overall a great movie with a TON of action and killing and gore. Also all of the music in the movie was done by RZA of Wu-Tang fame and he did a great job IMO. Go see the movie.

kill bill = classic tarantino, very very cool movie. bloody, violent, and great! not all the music was done by RZA, but a good part of it was. if you get the soundtrack you'll see all the various artists. and yah, during the filming of the movie, quentin just kept on coming up with new stuff, so they ended up have a +3 hour movie, which ended up having them split it into Kill Bill part 1 and 2, which are supposed to be released anywhere from 1-3 months apart.

I also had heard that the music is composed by none other than big gay Lars Ulrich...

but i know the kickass theme song on the commercials and trailers is definitely by some japanese guy.

At the beginning of the movie it said 'Musical Score: The RZA' or something similar. I didn't mean he made all the songs on the soundtrack, just that he set them all up.

Either way, the movie was just amazing and I can't wait for part II. I heard something about a Feb. release date.

schoolgirls swinging weapons, sure to be cool. I'll wait till it hits a Japanese theatre. They will probably change the name for whatever reason they do that but it looks cool.

Yeah Oren Ishii's (Lucy Liu) personal bodyguard is this good-looking but crazy 17 year old girl who finds joy in killing.

Saw it the night before it was released at the theater, very excellent. One of my favorites so far. Going to watch it again tonight after work. I'm sure this is only the beginning, as I plan to watch it as many times as I can. And as far as the release of the 2nd one, I believe its February 20th, so says the release schedule at work. I like the fact that O'rien Ishi's (Lucy Lui) lawyer drives a nice ol Fairlady. Even though she loses her left arm which means no shifting for her, haha...

that was the worst part of pulp fiction, hands down. Next worst was bruce willis's semi-mentally deficient girlfriend.

haha damn the gimp!

I think the worst part of that movie personally was Travolta's stupid dance.

I found the thing with the gimp cool for the part were Willis broke those and then broke bad.

just the look in the gimp's eyes were worth having him in the movie.

hell yes. I just saw the movie this weekend. My friends didnt like it, but I thought it was totally sweet. The music was kickass, and even though the movie didnt have a real POINT, I thought the story was told in a really cool way. Definetly gonna see the next one.

ah, yah i saw the musical score: RZA thing, but i'm sure he didnt' put together all the music, tarantino's big on music selection, i'm sure he had more of an influence on the songs. and the theme they play in the trailer's called "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotei. definitely gets you in that mood.

Hotei rocks, I have some of his singles. He was in a movie called Samaurai Fiction which was cool. It was shot in black and white and kurasawaesque. I'm sure Tarantino has it in his DVD collection.
