OK, a few of you guyswanted pics...

as you can see, the power and ground are on the opposite sides of the battery, so I had to fold out the power fused distribution block

extend the factory negative ground cable

You can also see the upgraded, 0 gauge , engine ground to chasis on one of the pics and the additional 0 gauge battery negative to chasis!

Thanks, Doc. I was trying to get my 1800 in the factory location (to compliment the 2400 in the trunk). I couldn't find a way to get it to work without folding the distro block out, but I wasn't sure if this would break it. Good to know that this is possible. The pics help out a ton.

You need to get yourself a racingline battery tie down!

Holy wires batman!I never thought id see "high voltage" in a coupe engine bay...

Doc, whyd you leave the hood damper brackets silver... no paint?

Its amazing how many wires there are to make everything work right and perform to spec...

Nice work!

The factory tie down actually works perfectly.. very secure, which is VERY IMPORTANT because of the metal brace sticking out whee the factory battery was braced. I couldn't use this due to the location of the positive terminal on the HC1800

the stock brakets look ok to me for now... I wish i had the free time to attack small details like that... but no go

Also, as I mentioned in a previous thread, I plan on removing the factory distribution block, and attaching an aftermarket distribution block with midi fuses... the problem Im running into is the fact that I'll have too many large wires to connect, and not enough llarger gaugse outputs on the battery terminals
