Alright, It all started around around the end of summer. I was peeing and then it just just stopped, and I felt a really sharp pain in my urethra. I immediatly started thinking it was a kidney stone(s). An hour and a half later, They finally came out, fairly sizable ones too, and damn they hurt like hell. I was scared at first, and I have always feared that one day I might get a kidney stone because some other people in my family have gotten them as well. We didn't go to the hospital like we should've (my mom and I). After than I cut down big time on soda and drank allot of cranberry juice/water.

December 17th comes around and I wake up to a very very sharp pain in my stomach, real bad. It comes to the point where I'm on the floor of the bathroom holding my stomach and very nauseous, and very cold. My parents rush me to the hospital where I end up vomiting into a bucket. Around 30 mins later (still with the sharp pains, its called "writhing pain", because I kept on shuffling my legs around and rubbing my stomach and moaning) my parents ask for some kind of pain reliever so I can shut the hell up ( I was being a little punk to everyone). They give me a huuuge shot of demerol or something like that and boy did that feel real god, knocked me out in 10 mins and I had no more pain for there on out. I get a cat scan and they find 2 kidney stones in my kidneys or w/e. I check out and everything is all good until yesterday.

Yesterday, I'm messin around with my girlfriend (boxers off, her panties still on, and well, shes on top of me. Everything is all good but I feel some hot wet, thick stuff on my stomach (I thought it was the clear liquid stuff), So tell her to get off of me and look down and there is a pool of blood on my stomach. I am scared out od my mind, b/c the blood just keeps on coming out of my urethra and drippin down my winky (I love that word). I immediatley call my mom and tell her what happened (leaving out the part that I was messing with my g/f) so I do 80mph the whole way back to my place so my parents can take me to the hospital. I get there, wait in the ER for 5 and a half hours before I am finally serviced or w/e. Then I get to my room, and wait another 3 hours before they let me go. During that time I was in the room, I got anpother cat scan and they give me a list of possible reasons as to why I was peeing blood. I'm on some medication now that makes me real dizzy/drowzy and it sucks.

I have no idea what the point of this story is but I"m just worried about whats goin on with my body and whats going to happen next. Any of you guys had a similar problem or know somebody that has? Peeing out those kidney stones was the worst pain in my life but I am sooooooo glad its over with. BTW I'm 17 years old. Thanks for reading or w/e

Ouch!

Kidney stones that young is unusual. I have had gall stone pain (needed surgery to remove my gall bladder a year ago), and it is not as bad as kidney stone pain apparently. If what I went through (with gallstones) is any indication (I was in severe pain,) you must have been in utter hell.

My sympathies!

kindney stones aren't fun, it runs in my family. Luckily I haven't had the chance to first hand experience it. My friend had the same problem urinating blood. The doctors couldn't figure it out they ran all these tests because my friend had cancer when he was 5. Turns out we linked it with him lifting too much at his job. He cut down all the heavy lifting and no more problems. I hope you get it figured out.

My first bout with kidney stones (gravel sized) was when I was 24. I've had them twice since than in 4 year intervals. I've cut down on things like pop, dairy and alcohol big time. Kidney stones don't run in my family. Did you have a stone analysis done? Or a trace IVP? I drink a litre of water a day to keep my urine diliute and drink a glass of cranberry juice once a day like medication. Cranberry juice has been clinincally shown to break up the radicals(medical term) in uric acid which cause kidney stones. A tall glass once a day makes a difference. I've felt your pain. The first time I had it I passed out from the pain.

Errrr... your pen15 has my condolences.

Edit: Yes, you are correct that Demerol is the greatest invention known to modern man. It's great stuff...ummm, when prescribed by a doctor. A real doctor, not a veterinarian or a chiropractor. Don't do drugs. Stay in school.

I had a colonoscopy once (that's a good story, but I don't want to thread hijack). The Demerol and Valium cocktail they gave me before the alien abduction action began was wonderful...demerol and valium is like chocolate and peanut butter.
