Kick panel carpet

This came off and I was wondering if I need to remove the trim with the INFINITI name in it to put back on. It’s a 2006 M35X.

You shouldn't have to remove the kick panel (with Infiniti logo on it) to remove or install that...just peel the door seal back a smidge. If I'm understanding what you're asking?
