No offense taken. I know it's evil. There are days when I just feel dirty and have to take a shower once I get home!

In addition to that, he needs to learn how to write and form complete sentences rather than coming off like a complete imbecile. I took one glance at his post and had no desire to read it.

Takes one to know one I guess

Yes that's right - a gay car. Like that new VW bug thing with the flower vase.

I told them that if the Versa was a gay car then they didn't want their butts in it and they can get out and walk.

Do you think the Versa has a [gay] car image?

Or would that just be those that mod it..?
My gay cars have RWD, manual transmissions and big turbochargers, how about yours?

Seriously, you need to get out more. Or at least try to keep up with the times. Hyundai and Kia have made great strides over the past decade to build cars that match, and in some cases exceed, the Japanese automakers. Hyundai's recent rise should be a model for the US automakers that somehow still insist on blaming only external causes for their demise.

How Hyundai came from the early-90s Excel, which was about the cheapest POS since the Yugo, to making cars like the Sonata, Soul, and Genesis is truly astounding. And Kia, Hyundai's 'value' brand, has cars with most of the same components/architecture. Comparing a present-day Optima with the first Kia's brought to the US is a night to day contrast.

What cracks me up about your juvenile take on this subject is that there were countless folks who harbored this same grudge against the Japanese marques in the 70s and 80s. It took nearly two decades for Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, et al to overcome this same brand of prejudice.

Call me crazy, but I doubt the Versa has anywhere near the residual value of a Corolla (or a Honda product). That's not a slam on the Versa, just a conjecture based on the fact that Nissans usually don't hold their value as well as some of the other Japanese brands.

I'm not defending the Korean brands because I own one, and nor do I see myself owning one anytime soon - but it sounds like you need to get over your hatred of these brands.
beat up my hatred over low trade in vehicles but attacking my english and just mine means you are either gay or needing time away from all this. KIA GUNNING FOR VERSA.....................what a joke and your a joke coming accross a korean carmaker apologist. GET A LIFE. jerk.

I disagree, Hyundai's are easily equal to Nissan in quality and re-sale value, and a lot of sources would place Hyundai above Nissan in this respect, Edmond's for one example. I love my Nissan but we have a Hyundai Santa Fe in the family and it is fantastic, to be honest I would've bought one but it was a little too pricey and my Rogue was more in my price range. Anyway, my point is there is no reason to disrespect the Hyundai!!

When did I 'attack your english?' Sounds like you need to re-read my post. You have comprehension issues.

Your post makes no sense. But I do find it funny that you feel the need to call me 'gay' - so does my wife.

You're an uneducated, immature, hate-filled imbecile. Pretty sad for someone who is supposedly 49 years old.

You're still making no sense. Your posts do make me wonder, do you know what spell check is? It's imbecile.

You seem to have difficulty distinguishing me from some other folks.

Member feloniousmonk was the one to bring up your atrocious grammar. Not I. Then you attack me for 'attacking your english'.

Member kerrton was the one who mentioned that he likes the Santa Fe. If you couldn't already tell from my signature picture, I own a Versa and a Mazda3.

Really, how can you follow the flow of a message board thread if you can't even attribute the comments to the appropriate poster? You do know that each individual post has the name of the member who submitted it at the top, right? That should help you pick out who to flame with your mindless rants.

Although I doubt your puerile mind can comprehend this, the fact that you continually bring up homosexuality points to your own personal issues with the subject. Anyway, I'm happily married, thank you very much.

Any chance we can get a mod in here to take care of this whacko? As far as I can tell he's never made any appreciable contribution to any thread.
