Keyless Trunk lid open?

Just got my brand new 2011 Sentra S. I'm pretty happy with it!
The car comes with remote keyless entry. My wife wanted the convenience of keyless trunk lid opening feature but the car does not have it unless we went to one model up. My question is - is it possible to just add the remote trunk lid open feature on this car? Should I go to the dealership where we bought the car or go to aftermarket shop? How much do you estimate it will cost? Thanks.

Good question. I'd check with an aftermarket shop first. I'm sure they can do it, but you might end up losing/not being able to use your factory keyfob.

I have actually wondering about this myself. I would like to use all OE parts and just swap out the keyfob to accomidate this. I shall await information anxiously..... :confused:
