Remote not working, purchase new one still not working. Dealer informs me electronic problem. Can research the problem at $70/hr. but will not guarantee will fix problems.

Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

Your profile says you have a 94' Q45. I had the same problem with my 94 Q45t. I also replaced the keyless entry remote to no avail. Nissan consult at the dealership identified the multi-Remote Control unit as the culprit.

It is the second module from left in the trunk where the speakers are mounted. It is illustrated on page EL-241 of the Service Manual. It is very easy to replace.

http://www.autogator.com (800 252 6662) located a used one for me. $125 plus $10.00 shipping. I had a good experience with this place. I know. It is hard to believe to have a good experience with an auto salvage type of a place. ;-) It was first for me.

I have a 93.5 G20, and can't seem to find the module, I have been told it is in the trunk, and also been told it is under the dash, so which one is it?

Update; I finally got a FSM, and now I can tell you where it is. In the trunk, above the electric antenna motor, mounted in the inner structure member, is the module and its relay. I have a pic, but I can't seem to get it to load on here.
