keyless remote for 2007 nissan altima

I just purchased a 2nd remote for my 2007 altima and i was wondering if there is anyway to program it on my own with out having to go and pay and arm and a leg for the nissan dealer to do it for me. Can anyone help me out it would be greatly appreciated! jay hawks

No clue i just had to the same with my 08, was $98 at the dealer to have it done plus $33 for the fob at $25 for the key...They hooked up a machine to the car while they were doing it too so I don't know how involved it actually is.

If you have an oval shaped intelligent key, you gotta pay the arm and leg. Dealer Service uses a $4K CONSULT III notebook PC. Remember to bring ALL your keys at the same time for programming.
