A couple months ago I had to replace my keyless remote. It has been working great until this week. The temperature has been in the lower 40's in the morning and the remote doesn't work. Once the temperature warms up the remote works fine. The remote is in the house so it does not get cold. Any ideas?

I assume the car is outside and iced over? Could be the reciever in the smart entrance control module is weak and the ice is preventing it from working. Or the extreame cold is breaking a circuit on the circuit board inside the module. Try warming up your car a bit then try to operate the remote under the same cold conditions if it then works I am guessing the cold is effecting the circuit board inside.
