Keyless remote '01 I30

I just bought an '01 I30 that only has one key and no keyless remote. I called the local Infiniti dealer and to get one key and remote and program them it's going to be about $275.

Is there a cheaper option?

I did a search and found some answers but had a few questions.

I looked on ebay and there are several places to get remotes. Is there a way to know for sure if they'll work on my car? Where do I find keys? The dealer wants $75.

Is it difficult to program the keys and remotes?

I found a site called keylessride.com. Is anyone familiar with them or purchased from them. Their prices are about half of the dealership.

I think that you need a Consult to program the keys as the mechanic was with me on a test drive and got a phone call that they needed the consult back to program a key for a customer who had an I35.
