Keyless entry
I have an 01 pathfinder and when I try to lock or unlock the car with the key fob, it rarely ever works. occasionally after pressing the buttons for a couple minutes it will finally work. i just replaced the battery so its gotta be either the key fob itself or something in the car. what do you guys think?

mabye the motors that open the locks or whatever are failing.

I had this same exact problem with my factory keyfobs. I took it to Nissan and had them look at it, but they just told me that it's normal. I just ended up putting in a remote starter/alarm which locks/unlocks the door perfectly.

Pwnin O'Brien is right on. The keyless entry "brain" is known to go bad. Best bet is to by a keyless entry system and just put it in yourself. I just used a simple one. An Omega DEC-12 or REC-12, I forget. It's pretty simple and you don't need a relay.
