Hey NISTECH,quick question... I just bought a 95 240 sx se. I read that they come with keyless entry standard but the key that i got from the previous owner didn't have a remote. I went to my local nissan dealer and ordered one for $68 (compared to many that is cheap). I have programmed the new frequency code into the car by the method provided to me at the dealership (lock all the doors, insert key # of times, click the button, etc). The problem is that after about 24-48 hours of non-use, the keyless stops working. When i click the remote it doesn't do a thing. I can get back in the car and repeat the process of programming the codes and the remote will work again. Any thoughts as to what could be causing this?

Thanks in advance-v

try a fresh battery in your remote. I believe its a cr2025?? Some times the batteries supplied are weak. If thats not it It would have to be a problem with the control unit logic. [not cheap] I seen this happen on another model car several years ago and I think we put a new multi remote unit in it. not sure though it was so long ago.
