Ok so my 94 Infiniti Q45 I think is a base model Q(didnt even have the disc changer or cd player option for that matter :frown: ) nor does it have keyless entry it seems. I have tried to program it but it does absolutely nothing. LIghts don't flash and yes I've done the procedure lots of times correctly. I had an Infiniti tech look at it and he told me that it doesn't even read a receiver for it. I have a fob that is for Inifiniti:

FCC number:A269ZUA078
ISC 700 k1359

Im wanting to know if i could get a factory one(new, Junkyard, etc*) and install it? would it work?

I forgot to mention the battery is good. We tested it before we even started. I work at the Infiniti dealer. Idk forsure if all Q's came with keyless entry.....mine is base model....and when I say BASE model I mean base. lol

i didn't come with the optional disc changer but had the button for the cd player...
the mirrors aren't heated mirrors...
speaker to talk into...but nothing to talk into lol (I know the older Qs came with the in car phones)
which makes me believe it may not have the keyless feature...

As far as I know all base models came with heated mirrors, yours probably just don't work for some reason. Mine is a base model with no options and the heated mirrors come on with the defroster.

And yes ALL 94-96 came with keyless entry, no if ands or buts. The receiver is above the fuel tank to the left of the FPCU and every car I've checked at local pick-n-pull has had one; checked almost 20. I am having an issue as well like it doesn't have a receiver or its not getting power. The FCC id's that work are:

A269ZUA073 - this is the remote infiniti told me was for mine
A269ZJA072 - I have this one and it should work

I got one to program for about an hour then for some reason it lost it. I think the remote you have is for a maxima or the like.

OP can buy a pair of remotes on Ebay for less than $30 shipped and program those. I bought a pair when I had the 94Q and they programmed the same as the OEM fobs and did all the functions (and a flashing light) except roll down the front windows.

I actually have one of those from ebay and it was the one I was able to program for a short time. It randomly programmed and when I tried it the next day it didn't work. If the OP couldn't even access the controller with a consult, at least I'm assuming they used a consult, then I think the system is at fault.
