Keyless Entry Question

My Y33 doesn't do anything but flash the parking lights when you lock it. And when you unlock it, it does nothing but turn on the interior lights.. I know that on my altima I could change it by holding the lock and unlock buttons at the same time to silence / honk .. Doesn't work on the Q.I looked everywhere including the owners manual, fsm and google.. how do you make it honk when you lock, and flash the lights when you unlock ?? Im fearing a dealer programming may be needed

what you describe is an easy reprogram on the late model niss/inf. afaik, our fy33's don't have that choice of signals.

Lack of horn beeps distinguishes it from US producers, thankfully.

You'll have to go aftermarket for that feature. You can replace the horn with a gentle beep.

true, but I like audiable confirmation. I know that even when the altima was silent. I could hear the doors lock.. The q is silent.. The relay for the flasher is louder than the door locks..
