Fueler, the '01 PF FSM doesn't show that, and it doesn't make sense to have aphysical device when a little bit of firmware in the SECU (zero cost) wouldhandle the timing.
Always remember Kettering's Law: Stuff you don't put on the car costs nothing todesign, nothing to make, and nothing to fix. Now Kettering died years ago,but it still applies. If you can do it in firmware, do it. It costs less to design, nothing to make, and is trivial to fix (firmware upload).
Now, maybe one of the switches is stuck closed, and that's confusing the SECU. Atthis point, that's the only thing that makes a little sense on this bug.
