I was inspired by another entry that said the electric door actuators are installed in all Versas they are just not hooked up. So I did some digging in the service manual and somebody correct me if I'm wrong please. The electric door locks are controlled by the BCM (Body Control Module) and every Versa has one! If your Versa has the Tire Pressure Monitoring System you also have a Remote Keyless Entry Receiver. It looks to me like there is only one type of wiring harness in the doors. (I haven't looked inside mine yet to verify this) What stops someone from ensuring all the connections are good, buying a keyless remote and programming it. It can't be this simple could it? Is there possibly different software in the BCM or the ECU?
