Ok, I got a new controller off Ebay to replace the one that never came with my '95 240sx SE. I found Dr. John's instructions on how to re-program it (lock doors, key in and out 6 times in 10 sec, lights flash, hit the button, unlock doors) well that didn't work. I put a new battery in my remote and it still isn't working. Did I skip somthing or do it wrong?

The replacement remote I got is for a '95-'00 Pathfinder, but I was told it would work just fine on my '95 240. So if there's not some trick to this that I'm missing sombody let me know so I can return this keyfob before it's too late.

Return it. Pathfinder fobs wont work on 240's. Are you sure that you have smart entrance? Usually the remotes are vehicle and year model specific. I can get more specific info, if you need it, tomarrow.

I was told by a buddy of mine at Nissan of Vero that they arn't vehicle specific and that it would work. I dunno but if you could clarify I'd appreciate it.
