Key wont turn

Hey all. I took my dash apart to replace the heater core, and since I put it back together, the key will not turn at all. The security light blinks when I'm in the car, but even after unplugging the theft module, it still won't turn over. When I had then entire dash out, the key would still turn, even with everything unplugged. What could be causing the key to stick now?

Not sure about this but I had the same prob with a car that had a cable for the security lock. Not sure about the z but check to see if there is any that's bonded pinched etc. Also is your wheel locked up? Might have to jiggle it to unlock it and free it up.
