key won't turn in ignition AT ALL!

i have a 91 240sx coupe, originally automatic. its now rb20, and 5 spd. i changed the whole complete front chassis harness from a 91 5spd. everything plugged up except for the key lock solenoid connector. so when i put my key in, it won't turn at all. and i jumped the neutral safety switch as well. so i guess i'm asking, how can i disable the key lock on the ignition? any help is appreciated.

did you check to see if the steering wheel is locked?

try to pull the wheel to one side or the other.my s13 i have to pull to the left gl
