key turns all the way when trying to unlock 90 300zx

I posted this several weeks ago and have had some issues with uploading my pics so I haven't had any luck posting them. I went to the dealership and they are now telling me the plastic ring that goes around the cylinder that pushes the rod to unlock and lock the door by the key isn't sold seperately. It's part of the complete handle which is on backorder. No specific idea of ETA on this and I'm tired of unlocking the passenger side of my car and crawling over to the drivers side. The complete setup costs around 100.00 but they don't know when it will be available to ship. I saw a guy was advertising some parts for sale and I was curious to know if the 240 would have a simular part on the door handle. If so I guess my next step would be to locate a complete door handle so I can figure out how to get the plastic ring off and onto my car. Any help is apprecaited. and I'm working on pics, on my post a response was for me to post pics of the actual part and I'm working on it. just don't have alot of time due to overworked and no time off.

I'm sorry but, the 240 door handle and its parts will not work for your 300. Your best bet is too find a damaged door in a local salvage yard and take the handle out of it. I hope this helps a little.

Email or call Z1 and ask how much they would want for one, they have tons of parts cars just sitting around their warehouse.
