Hey guys

Long time no chat!

i lost a set of keys for my car and am in the process of replacing. I lost my key code for programming the transponder(it was on the other key ring) and I'm trying to get a code for my car that will allow the locksmith to program it.

Is this possible...or am I forced to go to the dealership where they refuse to charge less than $125 for a 5 min program job?

thanks!!

John

Unfortunately the only solution I've ever heard is going back to the stealership :(

Are the codes associated with tbe keys specific to the car...or is there a general code between the early 2003 sedans which have a diff ECU? I know many other people who used locksmiths with no issue...they didn't even have key codes.
