Key Stuck in key slot...HELP?!!?

Okay, I am an idiot... I inserted my key, not the fob, the key into the slot in my 2008 EX35 in error. It is stuck and it will not come out even when I open the door and it flashes to tell me to get it out. Any ideas?

Why? Battery was dead and I thought that the slot was for the real key, not the fob.....guess I should've read the manual!

Did you force it in? use a long nose pliers to remove it. Nice to see a fellow Cheesehead here~

How and what exactly did you put in the slot?

If you put anything other than the infiniti key you are going to most likely going to need a flashlight and a pair of electronics needle nose pliers to safely remove whatever you put in there.

Be careful the sliding mechanism is not very durable to poking and prodding.
