Key stuck in ignition

Hey all. Whats up? My question is I have an automatic 240 and my key is stuck in the ignition when i park. How do i go about fixing this problem? Thank you.

shake the shifter. A lot of 240's have that problem -> shifter isn't fully engaged into Park, you'll hear a click.

To really fix it, you'd need to either take your center console apart and move things around, or ur ignition cylinder out and remove the lil lock thing (last resort).

yeah mine and my brothers does that

I usually push the shifter more forward on both cars and that gets it

also sometimes its even more stuck and I have to put the key more towards the on position and then back to lock and it will come out.........

i had the same problem today..when i took out the cover for the ignition key..there was a little red switch..and i pushed it u pwitha small screwdriver..how do i fix that?..i dont always wanna do that to take out my key..thanks
