So I followed the threads on the s13 5 speed swap, everything went great, started right up and even drove on first try!! BUT, the key wont come out of the ignition, it is acting like the auto is still in gear?? I jumpered the wires as shown, and then tried the other sensor wires without any luck.

I read a thread from another guy this happened to, but it didn't list an outcome.

ANY IDEAS??

NOTE: I put the control box back in, and there are no burnt fuses(89 240sx, auto ecu)

The"other guy" solved it for me, I dont need the lock box, all I did was remove the small cover around the key hole and release button, there is a small lever that I slid up (down on some) and the release button worked.Everything works as intended, the steering locks and you still have to press the release to remove the key. Thanks to Paul C. for all his help!!

To ensure future probles like i have, remove ( if your car is still equipt with it.) the shift lock cable that runs behind the steering colum to the shifter! My key was also getting stuck and broke off inside the ignition, so like a jerk (LOL) i pulled the entire ikey ignition off just to find out it was that cable!
