you missed a few things

and this works on just about every single infinti and nissan.

after you close the door you have lock it...and after you see the hazards flash you have to turn the key to ON and not to ACC, the hazards will blink to confirm its been programmed

I had a neighbor(Infinity Master tech) program a key i bought from Ebay. He said the remote was bad. He programmed it several times with no luck. The odd thing is he said it would work to turn on the car if placed in the slot, but owuld not open the doors.

I Emailed the guy i bought it from and he said it should work as he sells a ton of them.

What do you think?

Welcome to NICO, but I think you might have better luck asking your question in the Pathfinder specific forum!

Click here: zeroforum/37 and post your question again. Thanks!

fob (fŏb) n.A small pocket at the front waistline of a man's trousers or in the front of a vest, used especially to hold a watch.

A short chain or ribbon attached to a pocket watch and worn hanging in front of the vest or waist.

An ornament or seal attached to such a chain or ribbon.[Probably akin to Low German Fobke, small pocket.]

A more popular meaning over time is that a Fob has come to mean something attached to your keyring; such as the radio transmitter that operates our doors et al.

Does anyone know about programming a key for an 08 Infinity M35? I want to buy a new key as a spare from Ebay but have been told by a car key specialist there could be a problem even if it is a new key because the transponder code may not match that of my vehicle even if I get it programmed by the stealer. Anyone know about that?

I think you and Rliss should make a few corrections in spelling Stand behind your car and read what you see, and look at your kick plate when you open the door, and the vehicle registration too. Somewhere, there is a 'y' that snuck in where it shouldnt be.

You need to relax a little. He was just joking around...and you did spell it wrong in your post and in your acct info. Not to mention, your question was answered further up in the forum...you need to go to the dealer

Ok, here's your reply. The fobs all have their own frequencies. You need a specific one for the M, part number 285E3-EH11A. You can buy the fob anywhere, but it needs to be programmed at the dealer, along with any other keys you have.

You called me a jerk, I am sorry you feel like that. My apologies for hurting your feelings in whatever way. Now how about you fix your "Infinity" spelling so you can stop hurting mine. If you refuse, well I'll mail you a series of 'Y' letters I'll swipe from unsuspecting toiotas and you can attatch them to your car. to Bredtime and rgb129

OK Poisonous (gee there I did it again- sorry about that) now that you are playing nice lets try this again. I understand the FCC number and the IC No. for the fob/key set have to match the required numbers for the vehicle key. I was also told that there could be 3 different transponder programming frequencies that are used to program the fob/keys for the 08 Infiniti M series (apparently there is a new programming scanner? or procedure for 08 which is different from that used for programming the 07 and 06). The question is whether any keys offered on Ebay will be usable for an 08 Infiniti M or not, and if so what to look for. Does anyone have any experience with this or with programming fob/keys for an 08 vehicle?

Another thing. I was told for the 08 (don't know about previous) that if a new fob/key is programmed to the vehicle all other fob/keys for that vehicle have to be reprogrammed at the same time since a new key code will be generated. Any comments?

I have no truck with turkeys around Thanksgiving. Kind of enjoy them in fact. Especially when I cook them.
