The semi-circular key that goes into the CAS broke off in the sensor. Does that key just unscrew? I don't know what I'd use to remove it. Also any idea on the part #?

here's a pic:

What you could do is find the largest size drill bit that will fit on the broken tab, drill into it, then tap it, then put a screw in and pull it out. You would deffinatly need a drill press and vice to do it or if you have access to a mill. Thats the hard way but it should work.

all the keyway is, is an alignment pin.

you dont need to replace the cam, just going to have to visually verify the angle of the CAS before you install it.

Just take and make an indexing mark on the shaft of the CAS, and on the cam and line them up. You dont 'need' to have that installed. Those break off commonly in 300ZXs and I have had to band-aid a few that way temporarily. You'll know if you've got it on correctly because you'll be able to get the mechanical timing on check with little effort. If you cant get the cas to show 15 degrees on the crank pulley with max adjustment either way then you dont have it on correctly

Oh I have some stock cams BTW if you feel like digging into it

I do enjoy how someone actually took the time to mark that cam with the EX on it......
