key fob reprogramming ????

The battery died in my spare key fob for my wifes infiniti fx35. After replacing the battery it still doesn't work. How do I reprogram the key fob? thanks for the help.

I took this from my 97 240sx, but I've been told by my co-worker that any normal fob register for a nissan is the same. if it's a i-key those can only be registered by a dealer. remember have both fobs with you...oh and the only difference might be that you don't do anything else once you are in the hit the button mode, you hit a button on one fob, wait a sec, then hit a button on the other fob and then take it out of learn mode.
