Key fob only working to start the car- nothing else

I can't seem to find a search option in this forum, so I'm sorry if I'm asking an existing question. I have an issue with my two key fobs. I don't have a problem with the car starting. My issue is with the rest of the functionality. My doors only lock/unlock when they feel like it, the trunk won't open anymore, and the panic buttons don't work. I don't know what to do. Is this an electrical problem in the car? If so, how do I fix it? I'm not interested in spending money on getting someone to fix it since I can take care of most issues myself (besides internal engine things- I'm not a mechanic, but I know my way around pretty well). I just want to know what to do. I've replaced the batteries in both fobs, but the problem is still there. Again, the car starts with no issues. Someone please help me!!
