the 25 is bigger, newer, stronger, bigger turbo, the intake manifold is different, bigger stronger transmission, bigger higher flowing maf, the s2 has an ignitor built into each coil

I think rb20det's are underrated. Sure the predecessor rb25det is better in many ways.

but come on, skyline nostalgia comes with the rb20det.

it comes down to how much you're going to want to spend. Whats your budget? Do you have any nico members around that have rb swaps so you can have a feel?

Who cares, Skylines Suck ( ) and car goes fast or it doesn't, that's all that matters.

Agree with ya there, but what's a few hundred more bucks compared to what you get. If you don't have the money, you don't have the money though. The only place I can see the RB20 having any less of an advantage over the RB25 is if you are a drifter since the RB20's will take stupid amounts of abuse, but so will SR20's, and they weigh less, make the same if not more power, and have better after market support.

I didn't mean to turn that into a drunkin RB20 bashing post. Sorry RB20 guys. I'm just saying, if you haven't gone down that road already, compared to the money you'll spend in the end, just go with the RB25, especially if you are swapping into a S14 over a 13.

hahahhaha.

happy Birthday, and okay I'll agree with ya! I'm undecided as well for a swap. But rb25det might be more of a consideration now.

and OP are you using this for drift, than go with sr20det or rb25det.
