Key codes.

None of the Nissan dealers here can cut me a master key since my car is pre-'95 without a key code. There isn't a code on my red head key and the sticker w/ the code isn't present in my glove box. Is there any way I can find a code? I don't wanna give Pop-A-Lock $50 for a key when the dealer can cut me one for $10 if I can find the code. Thanks.

do you still have the original owners manual packet?

dump everything out of the packet if the seeling dealer was smart there should be a small metal tab that was on the original key ring from the factory. during PDI this metal tab is suppose to be placed in the packet. it has your key code stamped into it.

Well, I got a little carried away. I only have the manual, not the packet. I guess Pop-A-Lock is gettin' $50...
