An anti-Obama author tried to launch a book partly about Obama's ties to Kenyan leaders. He was arrested at the hotel where he was going to make an announcement to the press.

Apparently free speech isn't a right in Kenya.

I listen to World Radio Network and I am always struck at the interest that our elections have globally. It is almost as if the Presidential Elections are the next American Idol competition.

But I think that this news story underscores the fact that maybe the United States of America is not such a bad place after all.
