I am about to buy this unit along with the Nav module so it'll be identical function wise as the DNX 8120. Since this is from a friend, used, I have to do some research on what price is fair for the both of us.

This is where you guys come in! The deck still in great shape, probably used for less than half a year, and he paid approximately 1500 total for the deck, nav module, steering wheel adapter, ipod cable, and stuff like that.

I need to know what you guys think is a fair price. Maybe start off with the lowest this deck goes for brand new (with links if you can please!). Any other related comments are welcome

well, you can get both the DDX812 and the nav unit for about $1000 right now on ebay (I just bought this combo brand new in December after my break in) I wouldnt pay your friend more than $600 for the deck! you can get a refurbished unit on ebay for 579
