Kenwood aftermarket Stereo and Rogue OEM rearview camera

Folks,

I would really appreciate anyone's help. I just had a Kenwood DNX890HD installed as an aftermarket radio in my 2013 Nissan Rogue S. The installer managed to get the oem rearview camera to work with this aftermarket stereo due to this forum and everyone's help with it. In fact, when driving, if I put the screen in split mode, I can still see the rearview behind me. Here's the problem though. I notice that the right side is switched with the left side...meaning when I see the right side of a vehicle behind me in the monitor, it is really the vehicle's left side I'm actually seeing and vice versa. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Also, is there a way to get the guidelines to reappear? I don't see them with Kenwood at all. Maybe, there's a trick to getting them back?

P.S. What accessory can I buy to bypass the parking brake issue so that my passenger can watch a dvd while I drive? I see there are wire pieces for around $9-$11. But, someone told me that they no longer work and I'd need a PAC or other device.

I believe the Kenwoods are just as simple as grounding the parking brake wire. They don't need a "bypass module" to get it to work.

I know sometimes the camera input gets "reversed", and I'm trying to find if there's a setting on your deck to do so. Guidelines will not come back, that's built into the factory deck and not the camera itself.

Everything I'm finding is saying this is common on Kenwoods, great....

There should be a setting that allows you to reverse the image on your headunit.

Hi,

You just need a relay to bypass the parking brake so you can watch movies while vehicle is in motion. Here's my Kenwood DDX371 installed on nissan rogue 2011 SV. Factory USB, SWC and Back-up was all retained.
