Well, after I finished wiring up some new front side markers, it worked for the first 3 or so tries of switching on and off the lights. Now, on my fifth or so try, the taillights, front and rear side signals now dont work with the front headlights. The brakes lights, however, work flawlessly.

I traced the problem to the kick panel fuse box of the 15Amp tail light fuse (on the right column of the fuse box, the 3rd one up). It seems everytime I install a fuse there, it blows as soon as I turn the head lights on. Also, I realized that if I install a higher ampage fuse, it would take a few seconds longer to blow than the 15amp one. Now, I just bought the car and I need all these lights to make sure I pass inspection which is a few weeks away. So, if anyone has any ideas on what to look for or where to look, please, I need help!!

Also, the car currently does not have a radio installed so there are some wires in there dangling, but, I dont think it affects anything.

Just need help!! thanks.

I am having the same problem and can not seem to figure it out, although my headlights work along with my brake lights. My instrument cluster lights don't work either. If you figure anything out let me know I will do the same.

check the plugs for the bulbs for carbon deposits? they can cause a short. inspection time!

Well, got it all fixed. What happened is when I was converting back to the stock front side markers, I had to cut and splice the wires for the stock connections. Not knowing this, I tried numerious things for testing (taking out various bulbs, checking grounds, rewrapping in electric tape, etc.) and went through about, literally, 20-25 fuses.

I also figured something else out. The taillamp fuse has a relation to the beep. What happened before I realized this, was that when I placed a higher ampage fuse in the box, it took a little while longer for the fuse to blow, but it did eventually. So, I went back to the right front, and low and behold, the red/blue and black wires were in live connection with each other. This is was causing the short. Also, about that beep mentioned earlier (the one that signals your headlights are on), came back on when the wires were correctly wired up.

Also, during testing, what I did was insert the fuse slightly to see just how much of a spark was generated. When all the wires were done up right, the spark was not as excited and large as when it was wired wrong. Also, the beep came back when everything was wired up correctly.

So there, hope that helps ya. Also, take out each bulb and slightly insert the fuse to check which connections are going bad.

Good luck
