I already posted how to do the wiring a few weeks ago. A grand total of 2 wires need to be connected. That's it. Search.
As for keeping the A/C with an RB20 in an S14... bad news. The S14 compressor (for R-134a) will not bolt up to the RB using either the RB bracket and idler pulley or the KA bracket and idler pulley. A fabricated spacer block would be needed to make the compressor fit, but even then the compressor pulley lines up with the alternator and water pump pulleys... if you look at how that belt goes around the crank pulley, you'll see why this is definitely not going to work.
So the other option is to make up custom lines to fit the RB compressor. My problem with this is that the RB compressor was designed for R-12 and that the KA compressor is a much more sophisticated (and better) variable-pressure design. Plus, I really did not want to bleed my system because then I have to flush it and pump it down again. Maybe if I could find some cheap R-12 it would be worth it.
So for now, I will be without A/C. And since it was only 5 degrees the other day, that shouldn't be too bad for another 6 months....
