I bought an '04 Pathfinder last month to
replace my last one. I just updated the story today to outline my situation now, but long story short is that I'll be storing this Pathfinder in my garage until the end of December.
I've never kept a vehicle in storage before. My parents kept cars stored in their backyard all the time -- and when they gave me one, it practically fell apart within a matter of weeks, even though the year before it ran perfectly. I don't want this to happen.
What kind of things can I do to keep my Pathfinder in good shape, considering that I'm not allowed to drive it around? Idle it in the driveway every week for a bit to keep the battery in good shape, turn the A/C on to keep it in good condition, burn off the gas every month and then top it to 1/4 tank with new gas I don't have stale gas in the tank, etc etc etc?
