I see a lot of thread hijacking, unauthorized advertising and general trolldom in the Forums. Not specifically this one just a climate all over that bugs me. I have the power to correct it but I am not here that much. I want to keep the forum freindly and open without anybody getting stepped on but I can't be here all the time to ensure that that is the case. I ask for your help, the members. There is someone here at any time of the day, you see when something is out of whack and myself and the other Mods are a "report post" away. The button is not just for one guy causing trouble, if something needs to be deleted, moved, cleaned up or somebody needs a stern talking to that's what we are here for, use us. We got your backs:)

I figure this is as good a time as any...what exactly does the report post function do? Does it like automatically e-mail all mods or something?

yes. I get an e-mail with a link to wherever the reporting person was when they sent it, click and I'm right where you want me like the Bat Signal.:batman It's a great tool that I don't think the members are aware of.

Very cool, I never knew quite how it worked so I've hesited to "Report a Post" before because I didn't know if it automatically made a thread in the mod forum, or e-mailed EVERY mod or something...I didn't want to be wasting a bunch of peoples time over what usually isn't toooo big of a deal. I'll try not to hesitate in the future ;)
