OK this is probably a dumb question but i just want some opinions on it. I have an S14 some bolt on stuff, like headers but no turbo and when i bought it came with an Apexi AVCR and Apexi S-AFC, i plan to go RB25 and eventually raise the boost do you guys thinks i should just get rid of this stuff and get an e-manage or keep it and use both together, thanks

Thats what i was thinking i just wasn't sure if was a good idea to keep the AVCR and SAFC, but i also read somewhere the can be good for perfecting a tune that you already have. And are these capable of high horsepower, i've read that they have sluggish programing and can't handle the information being put out, Thanks for the help.

i had a neo on my 26 then moved to a emanage blue bc i got the entire set up for under 200 including timing harness, ive been tuning on the emanage allot and its fairly easy to use if ya get the hang of it, afcs and neos blow, emanage is a step up but still no standalone.

thats my .02

Thanks again, i think i'm gonna keep them as gauges, and maybe use to tinker with tuning

the afc is ok as a ref for gauges but disconnect the wire/s that intercept the maf wiring b/c of voltage drop/ loss, it will mess w crap, go w the emanage or a standalone for fine tuning

Emanage does seem really simple to tune with. Its just adding or subtracting timing from the stock maps and same with fuel. Id like to try a MAP ECU II sometime. Converts to MAP sensor and tunes off the stock ECU.

im currentl;y using the emanage map sensor option incase you max out the stock maf op voltage range, im at 27 psi now on hacked maf into a single 4inch aluminum tube.

Thanks for all the responses, I'm probably just going to keep them in because the original owner already hacked up the dash installing them so I'm gonna avoid a big ugly gaping hole.
