i need a lil advice on what to do. i have my nsport coming in for my s14. im gettin kinda low on cash and having a beater and s14 when ur 18 is a lil expensive so i've been thinkin of buyin an s13, seen a couple really cheap ones around. i could sell my car without the wheels for 5k and use that money to get a low milage KA and some other go fast goodies (JWT, 50lbs, 300zx maf) to put in the s13 with the turbo with money left over. the body kit on mine is startin to get on my nerves gettin a chip here and there and u have to baby it most of the time. s14 is an auto and s13 would be 5spd. i know i could build up the auto to be faster but i enjoy 5spd more (beater=91 celica 5spd). i dont know what to do i keep goin back and forth between good looks and pretty fast or decent looks and very fast

I'm 18 and my S14 isn't all that expensive to keep. $140/mo for payment, $150/mo for insurance. Not that bad IMO...

Granted it's a little frustrating right now since it's not running...but nonetheless.

Go for whichever option you really want. Just remember, if you get an S13 and modify the hell out of it, it's not going to be much cheaper than the S14 would have been, in the long run.

Go with the s13, if you dont body kit it you could sell the beater also, unless you have a long drive. Keep the appearance stock looking and no one would mess with it. Alot of people think s13s look better.

when i was 17 a month ago the 240 was 175/month celcia 100/month supposively its droppin now tho. i just started at olive garden and should be makin about 2x as much then i was before. everything i want to do to the s13 i would jsut do to the s14. the difference is that s13 is 5spd and no body kit so i wont have to worry about the paint chippin and parts crackin
