I think the low numbers being sold has something to do with it, in addition to how great of a car it is! (Hello MKIV Supra)

The supra did not jump in price because it was a great car. It jumped because of fast and furious. With the 370z I think a lot has to do with the low volume sold. I have only seen a few on the road. Probably less then 10 all together. And the way the market is the price is going to stay up. A lot of used cars are doing that. I know just in my experience in shopping for an M3 I saw the value go up over the last 4 months.

Everythings all out of balance. People arnt out buying new cars and in return used cars are being driven more and people are out there shopping for a car they can buy cash, get a good deal on and not create debt in this economy. I spoke to one guy at a car auction and he was telling me how just a year ago there used to be close to 5k cars. Now at the same auction there is about 1500-2000.
